i didnt know where to post a question so i thought i would just do it here. i have purchased the microphone for guitar hero but i was just wondering if anybody knows if the mic works for the “lips” series or any singstar like games for my “ahem” daughter……

Using the standard microphone and controller combo can be a hassle, and this mic solves that problem. It’s as simple as that.
This is now my primary microphone for Rock Band, and I occasionally find myself using it to navigate the XBox dashboard after having played Rock Band. Simply because it was more convenient than reaching for the remote controller.
The only niggle is that the main directional controller is a little finicky and took some getting used too. But this is more a concern outside the game, in-game the combination of a good microphone and controller is perfect.

At first we were using the xbox 360 headset which really wasn’t the best, didn’t pick up your voice which isn’t great when you are playing guitar hero! This works so much better and I’m glad I purchased it.
