Probably my facourite HP film! So glad that I bought it so I can watch it over and over again!

This is the most disappointing Harry Potter film to date. It gives only very vague nods to each of the themes in the book. In fact I watched it with my husband who had not read the book, and it made absolutely no sence to him whatsoever – not having the story in mind to fill in the blanks. They would have been far better off leaving out some of the smaller storylines so that the main plot could be explored and dipicted with enough time and attention to detail for it to make sence.
A thorough let down after 4 reasonable adaptations.

no doubt the dullest of the harry potter series so far, simply regurgitating plot lines and characters from past films. you feel absolutely no empathy for Mr Potter as he squirms in agony towards the end….you just want the silly fool to turn over the die. childish rubbish that does not deserve its fame and success. far better books are passed over for film-making every day. but people watch it because they don’t know any better…..and there is far better out there if you’re prepared to look for it.

The best movie so far, really captures the darker element of the book whilst keeping it light hearted. The characters have developed in a good way.
